03/12/04    Nottingham Evening Post ‘10,000 Ignore Waste Survey’

A report into the lack of responses to Waste Recycling Groups consultation document which was sent to 10,500 homes. NAIL commented at the time that the whole of the residents of Nottingham were being subjected to the daily cocktail of poisons emitted by this incinerated, not just the few sent this ‘glossy’ leaflet which did not address the real issues. The whole of Nottingham they should have all been consulted. The questions were also very poorly worded, often requesting a yes no answer. The questions were very misleading, resulting in a poor result and flawed responses.
