20-09-05 NAIL Public Meeting
We had a great turn out at our first ever public meeting with around 80 people supporting our campaign. Thank you to all of you who gave up your evening to listen to us, give us your support and encouraged us to fight on. This is the start of many more campaign meetings.
The event was attended by the BBC, 96 Trent FM Radio, the Nottingham Evening Post and IndyMedia.
At the meeting we recruited many more volunteers willing to help stop these proposals. Volunteers came forward to join the campaign committee as well as helping in other ways such as leafleting local areas etc.
